Our Story
Your Household Hero was founded by Zach and Ashley Houston in 2023, Ashley has a background in hospitality management and has been organizing and planning since she can remember. She brings over 15 years experience in restaurants, event management, and hospitality, combined with 10 plus years of management experience to the table. Zach brings the fun and balances out the dynamic duo (and is unofficially the CFO.)
Zach and Ashley got married in 2020, after meeting through their e-commerce business partners. They have one cat and currently reside in Charleston, SC.
The Team
Currently the team includes Zach and Ashley, as well as their best friend and long term business partner, Dean.
Dean brings over 25 years of experience in management and an array of skills and random knowledge. Wondering what the hottest pepper is on earth or how to cook with it? Need handyman tasks completed? Need something sown or duct taped together? Dean’s your hero.
Ashley’s other skills include floral arranging, wedding planning, party planning, cooking and baking Paleo, and advising on all the best books to read.
Zach provides brute strength, numerical genius, and is the best sous chef Ashley could have dreamed of.
